We're so proud to have been recognised at the Sutherland Shire Tourism Awards 2012. We won the Shire Attractions category – with deserving co-winners Canons Shuttles – as well as the Eco Tourism category.

Founder Ian Wells was Highly Commended for Outstanding Individual Contribution to Shire Tourism, in part for his work in representing tour operators on Sutherland Shire Council's tourism sub-committee and for promoting the Shire and it's jewel, Royal National Park, internationally.

We were even more delighted by the additional prize of a 12 month business acceleration program at the Sutherland Shire Hub for Economic Development (SSHED). We can't wait to get started on this intensive business mentoring to help leapfrog us to the next level.

We have big dreams for Royal Coast Walks but big dreams can't be achieved without a solid foundation. It's our Shire experience and the support we've received from Sutherland Shire Council (kudos to Jenny-Lee Stefas and the tourism department), the close relationship with other local operators, and ongoing support from the NPWS staff at Royal National Park that will allow us to achieve those big dreams. So, from us, to you, thank you.
